Harapan Ramadan

CIMB Islamic’s flagship Ramadan initiative delivering food boxes and essential aid to vulnerable communities, supporting 100 local stores, and providing RM1,000 seed funding to 50 Asnaf micro-entrepreneurs for festive income opportunities.

Program Satu Pemimpin Satu Kampung Santuni MADANI

A community empowerment initiative that pairs CIMB senior leaders with Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) communities to provide mentorship, guidance, and resources.

 

The programme aims to foster social development, support local entrepreneurship, and improve the overall well-being of residents, creating sustainable and positive impact at the grassroots level.

Program Pusat Tuisyen MADANI

Through this initiative, 2,000 Asnaf Form 5 students from 50 selected schools receive structured tuition classes for core SPM subjects; Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics and History.

Flood / Disaster Relief

Provide timely support to staff and communities affected by floods and natural disasters, offering essential aid such as food, basic supplies, and financial assistance. These efforts aim to ease immediate hardships, support recovery, and help communities rebuild with resilience.

Supporting small businesses is a core part of CIMB Islamic's societal impact. Combining financial aid with training and advisory services to help entrepreneurs grow.

iTEKAD Program Keusahawanan CIMB Islamic – Taylor’s

The initiative provides entrepreneurship trainings to 40 micro-entrepreneurs from underserved communities in Klang Valley, with 30 receiving equipment grants of up to RM5,000 to grow their businesses and improve livelihoods.

iTEKAD CIMB Islamic Rider Entrepreneur Asnaf Programme

Through this initiative, 160 asnaf individuals from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Pulau Pinang receive entrepreneurship training. Of these, 120 are provided with motorcycle grants and a one-year job opportunity as food delivery riders, aimed at enabling sustainable income generation and long-term financial independence.

iTEKAD Melon Manis Terengganu Graduate Agropreneur Programme

This programme aims to train 20 asnaf university students in Terengganu enrolled in agriculture-related courses, providing entrepreneurship training and greenhouse facilities, while supporting the market development of Melon Manis Terengganu (MMT).

We aim to drive sustainable progress at the core of our business. Ensuring economic growth creates long-term value while protecting the planet and supporting a fair society.

EcoSave-i: Ulu Kalumpang Forest Reserve Habitat Restoration Programme partner: WWF-Malaysia

The project aims to plant 47,000 seedlings to restore 35 hectares of riparian area, enhancing connectivity and supporting the protection of 90,000 hectares of key Totally Protected Areas.

EcoSave-i: Ulu Muda Forest Complex Conservation Programme partner: WWF-Malaysia

The project focuses on restoring degraded areas and addressing Human–Elephant Conflict (HEC), with indigenous communities actively involved in all stages of conservation.

EcoSave-i: Taman Tugu Nature Education Programme Programe partner: Amanah Warisan Negara & Free Tree Society

A hands-on sustainability initiative offering experiential learning through environmental talks, jungle walks and gardening workshops, while reintroducing indigenous rainforest species at Taman Tugu and propagating native plants for other urban parks.

EcoSave-i: UPSI Edu-Forest Conservation Programme partner: Forest House & Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI)

The programme focuses on improving forest ecosystem health while supporting Edu-Forest’s role in education, recreation and research. All conservation and research activities will be undertaken by UPSI students and lecturers, mainly from the bumiputera segment.

EcoSave-i: Rantaian Urban Green Space (RUGS) Programme partner: Forest House & Malaysian Nature Society

The project aims to create sustainable urban green spaces that support environmental conservation, enhance community well‑being, and provide income opportunities for indigenous communities.

EcoSave-i: Penjaga Gunung Project Programme partner: Your Idea Maker & Malaysia Forest Fund

A programme empowering Orang Asli youth from Kampung Orang Asli Pertak and Kampung Ulu Batu to lead forest conservation efforts in Hutan Warisan Diraja Selangor.

EcoSave-i: The Habitat Penang Programme partner: Penang Institute & The Habitat Foundation

The project advances biodiversity protection and sustainable practices in the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve through education, coexistence solutions, waste management and community engagement.

EcoSave-i: Community-Led Coral Rehabilitation Programme partner: Reef Check Malaysia

A community‑based project restoring damaged coral reefs at Redang, Tioman and the Mersing islands using effective ecological rehabilitation methods.
